Mr. Udjo is the Managing Director of ZA Logics, an African advisory firm and is a commercial aviation professional. In his corporate airline career he previously worked for Comair Limited, South African Airways and Qatar Airways (based in Doha). His roles formed part of the research, commercial and/ strategy functions of all airlines. In his last capacity in the corporate sector, he developed and headed the Network Planning, Scheduling & Alliances Department of Comair Limited – South Africa’s only JSE-listed airline business.
Prior to that, he was involved in strategic planning and implementation for the core airline business in the Domestic, Rest of Africa and Intercontinental markets for South African Airways. In September 2019, Mr. Udjo decided to enhance his contribution to the African aviation industry, by focusing full-time on his management consulting practice, ZA Logics, which seeks to be: “The strategic partner of choice for African businesses involved in transport, infrastructure and tourism development.”
Academically, he holds Bachelor of Commerce and Bachelor of Commerce Honours degrees from the University of Pretoria (both achieved Cum Laude), as well a Master of Business Leadership degree from the University of South Africa’s Graduate School of Business Leadership (focusing on Strategic Management & International Business).
Mr. Udjo previously served as a Director of the Board of Brightest Young Minds, a 19-year-old non-profit company that exists to create positive social impact across Africa, in previous partnership with Barclays Africa (now ABSA Capital).
His professional ethos is the belief that transportation and connectivity (both virtual and physical) are keys to economic inclusion, opportunity and ultimately success for the African continent.
