Zunaid is a top 10 law graduate from the University of the Witwatersrand and a High Honours graduate of UC Berkeley School of Law, California. Zunaid also holds certificates in business law and advanced company law from UC Berkeley, California and Wits University respectively.
In 2018 Zunaid was invited to apply to the Berkeley Centre for Law and Business (BCLB), one of California’s preeminent University-linked business and law consultancies. While at BCLB Zunaid helped pioneer Venture Capital University, an online venture capital education platform and assisted in establishing the Business in Society Institute, which focuses on sustainable methods of corporate governance, ESG and impact investing. Zunaid has worked with the National Venture Capital Association of the United States (NVCA) and with some of the USA’s most respected venture capital finance professors and general partners.
Zunaid currently serves as the Chief Executive Officer of the Brightest Young Minds NPC, one of Africa’s leading entrepreneurship hubs and Director of LHL Attorneys Incorporated, which has taken on some of South Africa’s most complex litigious matters and enjoys an almost flawless litigation track record of over 30 years. Zunaid is fluent in English and conversant in Afrikaans, Zulu and German and holds a passion for African and South African socio-economic and impact-led development.
