BYM is a registered non-profit organisation and public benefit organisation registered in jurisdiction of the Republic of South Africa . Brightest Young Minds NPO (2001/016046/08), referred to as “BYM” below, which includes its directors, associates, affiliates, agents, contractors or any other related stakeholders (persons or organisations), you select (or otherwise on whose behalf) accept these terms and conditions.

You use the website at your own risk. BYM excludes all its liability and responsibility for any amount or kind of loss or damage that may result to You or a third party. This includes without limitation any direct, indirect, punitive or consequential loss or damages, or any loss of income, profits, goodwill, data, or loss or damage arising from or connected in any way to business interruption, and whether in tort (including without limitation negligence), contact or otherwise in connection with the site in any way or in connection with the use, results of use or inability to use the site, any websites linked to the site or materials thereon. This includes, but is not limited to, loss or damage due to viruses that may infect Your computer equipment, software, data or other property on account of Your access to, use of or browsing of the site or Your downloading of any material from the site or accessing any links on the site. Nothing in these Terms and Conditions of website use shall exclude or limit BYM for (a) death or personal injury caused by negligence, (b) fraud, or (c) misrepresentation as to a fundamental matter, or (d) any liability which cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law.

BYM does not accept any loss you may incur related to the use of the online donation functionality

BYM updates its website frequently and so the content may change at any time. If the option arises, we have the option to suspend the site or close it indefinitely. BYM does not accept liability for any loss from the use of information on the site.

All content, logos, graphics, designs, photos, including the “Look and Feel” belong to BYM. All contents (including photos) are assumed to be free and for fair use. BYM reserves the right to instruct you to remove any BYM-related content that you share on social media, if it does not align with BYM’s culture and code of conduct. If you would like to link BYM’s site to your website, you will need BYM’s Board’s permission.

BYM reserves the right to cancel the Summit or amend the details of it at any time. BYM does not accept any liability for any loss incurred regarding the aforementioned.

BYM will only collect and use your data permitted by law or any other that is willfully given. BYM will not share your data with any third parties unless you give explicit permission. If you are under the age of 18, seek permission from a parent or guardian, before submitting your personal information.

Occasionally BYM will send out newsletters and social media posts. You have the right to opt-out of these.

BYM is responsible for keeping your information safe. All details (including personal information), for example, names, emails, etc are kept in secured, password-protected and access controls databases online and backed up offline. You can request your information, that BYM holds, or for it to be deleted at any time or be removed from any distribution lists by emailing the address below.
